FreeBSD 4.X に mod_python を入れる
が、libpython2.4.a を組み込むことになってしまい、libpython2.4.so (DSO) を入れてくれない。
apache 2.0 は --enable-threads で configure
python2.4 は --with-threads で configure
mod_python の configure で thread 関係のオプションがない。のが問題らしい。
setenv CC "gcc -pthread" として、thread オプションをあらかじめ入れて configure することで、どうやら DSO を認識できるようになった。
新しい OS ならこういう苦労はないのかな？皮袋とぶどう酒の関係みたいなものか。
